I think this IS genius. It's hard to create a music video that pays homage to the song, but to also pay homage to Muppets is infinitely harder. You are taking in all the tropes of both and coming out with something unique.
The bar isn't set THAT low...

The bugs were a classy touch. Miss Piggy's nipples were also a stand-out feature.
