Off 2 A Great Start

FOR THE RECORD, CBC Radio 2, which rebranded starting the day after Labor Day to try and get some new listeners. (Read: anybody under the age of 60) is great. Like the great KCRW, I've found myself jotting down the names of bands to buy later.

Predictably, in the land we call Canada where all change is evil and must! be! resisted! there has been much clucking about the "loss" of Classical Music on the service.



I call Bullshit. It's on in midday -- when I mostly tune out.
But man, other times? It's the first time I've opted for regular radio over satellite or internet-- for music -- in about three years.
