IF YOU LIVE long enough, hopefully you'll amass a series of good friends who know exactly when you're likely to lunge for the crack pipe. The crack pipe, in this case, being metaphorical, a stand-in for whatever badass thing you can't resist but probably should: the lure of gambling, bacon, performance sedans, actresses, ketamine, tequila...
For me it's the
shiny.

Like say, oh...the
Macbook Air. Mmmm.
Good thing I have friends.H/T to
Sandy McMurray.

are you going to order it?
I'm jealous. I got the 13.3 inch macbook less than a year ago and while I'm very happy with it, it always pains me when the new model comes out.
Not sure that I like this particular setup. But then, I've been inclined to stay well behind the cutting edge when I think it's going to be inconvenient to what I want to do with my hardware.
wait for the second generation denis
BTW 80 gigs is too small these days that's my ipod
-p
Oh yeah, there's no way I'm getting one.
I just thought it was touching that someone had my previous boneheaded techno-thing top of mind.
Charging 20 bucks for an Ipod Touch software update, though...that's cold.
Saw this the other day and thought of making the switch from my PC.
Light, airy, with 2Gig RAM is pretty sweet.
My better half and I didn't step away... we pre-ordered (we're junkies - what can I say?). Fingers crossed...
oh no man you totally got to get the iPod touch software update. Well maybe YOU don't; I did. The map app has this wifi thing that simulates GPS. Its hours of pointless fun! I also hear it plays music- I haven't tried that yet...
I second the new Itouch apps. Awesome. Worth $20. Just for the Notepad. It's hi-tech-low-tech. Love it.
