Mosques on my Mac

Say what you want about CBC when they're doing stuff wrong -- but they are definitely doing their best to promo their new show, Little Mosque on the Prairie. There are banner ads for the show on every Canadian website I visit.

Yes, the campaign is nonsensical. (Halalarious? Are you kidding me? Why not Infidel-icious?) But they're trying. I just hope they're not getting too excited before their viewers weigh in. This is still pre-press. Remember, Studio 60 was the can't miss show of the season. Heroes, who?

Still packing, sneezing, and writing. Go about your business.

Yeah, I don't know who came up with the ad campaign, but it sucks. I am glad they've relaunched the website with more content, tho.

I concur ... the tag lines to suck. So do the promos. I hadn't realized Sheila McCarthy was in it ... she doesn't seem very Saskatchewan to me. For some reason, I always associate her with the Maritimes.
