Well, looks like The Nine didn't keep a lot of Lost's audience, which isn't that great news. First, Kidnapped is wrapping up in 13 (the better to sell DVD's with, my dear!) and now this. What a crapshoot this business is.
I liked the show. Great cast. Chi McBride was almost unrecognizable. And I like Jessica Collins, too. Tim Daly almost made me forget how much I miss Eyes. Intriguing enough that I want to see what happens next. I will definitely watch the next two episodes.
It was also nice to see Jeffrey Pierce, the lead in Charlie Jade, show up as one of the two robbers. And the psycho one, too. Awesome!
As for LOST, well, nice trick. The "man of science" is actually a big ol' stalker-y psycho?

I'm not sorry to see Kidnapped go. It is a sin the show is as dull as it is with the cast it has. I guess there is something to be said for chemistry.
Glad you liked The Nine, I'm hooked. Worried about its future but I thought it was much better than Six Degrees. I agree with you about Tim Daly. Nice that he and Steven Weber are both finding success again this year.
The Nine did well enough where if it maintains next week, it'll probably get a full season to play out its central story. Don't know where it will go from there, though.
I really liked The Nine, dammit, just when I thought I was safe from adding more new shows to my list. I wasn't really expecting to like that one. I missed the credits and didn't figure out it was Chi McBride until near the end ... and he was on this show I kinda like, House, for several episodes.
I got confused between Kidnapped and Vanished and decided not to try to watch either one, just to be safe.
I just got disc 6 of the first season of Lost ... at this rate, I'll be able to watch season 4 in real time, when I will be even more bitter that I know too much about the plot twists.
Boo, hisss! I kinda liked Kidnapped, sure it was a little slow but I was really starting to get into it and I really want to know what happened in Knapps past that made him all angry and frustrated and hot...I mean determined. ;p
And unlike on Lost I'm fine with someone just telling me about it instead of the constant flashbacks. That bit in the bar about the shooting in episode 2 - loved it!
That bit on Lost where we find out Jack's a lot like Charlie on Party of Five - not so much.
KIDNAPPED is one of those shows that needs a quick ending. 13 episodes is a good number to tell a personal story like that.
Now if the kid were the son of the a visiting national... and the kidnappers told the father he had to launch a nuke at Kazhakstan or he'd never see his boy... and Jack Bauer was called in to save the day... only to find out it was his own people doing the kidnapping...
Then you would have something worthy of 24 episodes...
