Robson Arms is a mostly-worthy half-hour comedy-drama set in and around an apartment building in Vancouver. I found it to be a little odd, because the tone radically shifted in some episodes -- but it was very well written and acted, by talented and familiar Canadian faces.
They're shooting Season Two now, and there's a blog that's chronicling the process. Good for them -- getting it out there without futzing with the gatekeeper!

I really liked this show when it appeared, almost unheralded, last summer and was surprised to learn that it had been renewed because the whole process of showing it in the summer of 2005 seemed like a burn-off or some other "stunt" that Canadian private netwroks use to get rid of Canadian content. I didn't even know it had aired during the winter.
