IS IT WORTH noting that the two winners in Screenplay at the Oscars last night, HURT LOCKER, and PRECIOUS, were both works where the collaborative nature of film was celebrated, rather than trying to cram it into a "Director is King" narrative -- or leaving your co-writer or creator frozen out there, flapping, uncomfortably?
Nah. Probably not.
