I'll grab the pilot and episodes 3 and 7 (which you wrote) should they appear online.
Dunno if the comparison to 24 is fitting or not, but the trailer with soundbites like "Taliban-related violence" makes it sound like Yet Another Show About Terrorism. And that cow has been milked so dry it's got bruised udders and needs psychological counseling to deal with the abuse.
Still, its episodic nature might allow for more sensible plots. Like money laundering or drug trafficking. One can hope.
By the way, the same anti-local-shows attitude is pretty much prevalent here in Estonia. It's so much harder to write a popular show in a place with no strong local culture.

Oh, great. As if people weren't already scared enough by threats that don't exist.
Hey. Wow. Gee ... it looks just like 24. How exciting! Perhaps when I actually watch it my worst fears won't be confirmed.
Heh heh Heh Oh my god, ladies and gentlemen, there it is --
The! Joy! of! Entertaining! Canadians!

Well, one more day of 80 degree weather, so I'll cut this short and say, bye.
