CHUM has changed the CityTV premiere dates for BLOOD TIES, essentially delaying the show an extra week so they can show the two-hour premiere episode all at once. The full skinny can be read about here.
(The show will also definitely air on the SPACE channel nationally this fall, but I don't know the day and time yet. If someone else does, please feel free to stick it in the comments below.)
Also, I just finished my first pass on my first episode of THE BORDER.

I don't suppose you've been approached to write any additional episodes for Blood Ties, have you? And if you had, would you, could you even tell us if you had been approached?
We fans in the States are starting to come somewhat unhinged and I don't think we will make it until October which is when Lifetime tells us the back 9 will air. We have asked them for a marathon over the summer or at least a potential release date for the dvds. I understand they will be released from a Canadian Production Company. Have you heard anything regarding a potential release date?
Not only have the fans developed a drinking game but the bloodlines-blood ties site has started a campaign to donate blood and send the receipts to Lifetime showing the fans support for additional episodes. I understand the fans of Jericho got their show renewed by sending the powers to be a bunch of peanuts but I think sending lifetime a bunch of blood might be a bit of a trick, at best.
