The latest batch also includes ... Moon Bloodgood in NBC's "Journeyman."
Bloodgood, who starred in ABC's "Day Break" this season, is joining "Journeyman" as the ex-fiancee of Kevin McKidd's time traveler.

Whatever with the Bloodglow. I'm excited about the House-as-a-female-cop show from my writer crush that just had casting news of its own:
"Famke Janssen has signed on to topline NBC's cop drama from "House" creator/executive producer David Shore. The untitled NBC Universal TV Studio project, from Shore and "House" writer Peter Blake, is a light drama with procedural elements that centers on a female cop (Janssen). "We're thrilled to have her -- she's smart, funny and somewhat attractive," Shore quipped.

Yum yum factor aside, and not to put too fine a point on it all, but anyone who has grooved to Letterman riffing on Uma or Oprah or ending a bit with: "I don't have a joke here, I just like to say Buttafuoco", certainly would 'get' what's going on here.

Random thought: I was in the old NBC studio audience when Raquel Welch made an unfortunate mispronunciation of "Buttafuoco" on Letterman. Good times, good times.
