Looks like the promotional push has finally started for Rent-A-Goalie, a new Showcase comedy that premieres Oct. 1.
RAG is that rarest of beasts: a homegrown Canadian comedy that's actually funny. I got to read the scripts last year and was blown away by how good they were and the unique voice contained in them.
Then I saw cuts of seven of eight episodes, and they were even better.
There's a real mix of humor here: smart and savvy and dumb and accessible. It's fast- paced, character driven, and it's got heart, too. Spread the word.
And yes, this is the show that I was talking about in this post a few weeks back.
I have more to say on this show, and I'll probably put it out there closer to the airdate.

Too much - I saw my first ad for this last night watching Rescue Me and my first thought was: I bet this is the series Denis was talking about all mysteriously. Cool.
Yeah, when I came across the info on the show yesterday for the Canadian TV site, I figured so too. Your teaser worked - it's been nagging at the back of our minds, obviously!
Looks like they've put some effort into the website, too, which is nice. Makes it seem hopeful that they'll put some energy into the promotion.
