Nyah Nyah Nyah, LOST haters!

Another stellar article in today's NYTimes. I have been fighting the cynicism of many of my fellow traveller writer friends in saying that I think the guys at LOST have learned from Twin Peaks and X Files, that they are aware of the problem inherent in stringing the people along. The answer I've gotten most often is, "Don't be ridiculous. They're making it up as they go along."

Well, which is it? Seat of the pants or a well-thought plan?

Bit of both, rilly.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you write for and run a megahit TV series.

Long live LOST!
