I KNOW OTHERS have posted this, but it's very useful if you're looking to write a new spec, and if you're new (ie: not produced yet, or one sale) you should ALWAYS be looking to get crafty and write a new spec.
And I also post it because it comes to me courtesy of Karen Hill, who has a big brain & is a total babe besides. Bow down before her, earthlings.
For my 2 cents -- there's no way I'd write a 30 Rock right now... The Good Wife is solid & a great choice, and if you're a comedy writer, cranking out a Modern Family is a must.

Always thought the rule was not to spec a show unless it's got 2 seasons in the can. Is that no longer the case?
