And That's That.
FOR ALL THE fooferal about the CBC News Redesign (Gaaah! Standing! Colours! Tweets! It's the end of the world!) and especially the pique of my good friend, the Gentleman From Newmarket, I think it's that young whippersnapper Mike McPhaden who summed it up best, in, (of course) a Tweet.

My uncle used to tell a story about fighting with the Canadian army in Italy. A squad of Canadians had been surrounded by the Germans and were running out of ammunition.
A German officer called out to them, "English Gentlemen, will you not surrender?" One of the Canadians hollered back, "We're not English! We're not gentlemen! And we're not going to fucking surrender!"
I do, however, reside in the lovely community of Newmarket.
