
IT'S BEEN A pretty good couple of years for TV writers and politics. First you had the final season of the West Wing eerily mirroring the two-years off Presidential race. (Which caused a sensation when it finally ran in the UK, because, well, it's eerie.) Then there was the strange serendipitous turn that the most colorful VP candidate ever just happened to be a doppelganger for one of the sharpest minds in comedy. Then there's the other former SNL comedian & writer who apparently just got elected Senator from Minnesota. And now, damn you HuffPo's Jason Linkins, you beat me to it:Old Impeached Blago just got up and totally went Clay Davis on our ass.
